The Revenue Cycle Applications Specialist will play a crucial role in optimizing and maintaining the revenue cycle management systems for Amazon One Medical. This position focuses on supporting healthcare billing applications, ensuring system integrity and effective system utilization.

Key job responsibilities
• Serve as a subject matter expert for revenue cycle applications, including EHR/EMR systems, practice management software, and billing platforms
• Configure and maintain revenue cycle applications to support organizational workflows and compliance requirements
• Develop and implement system updates, fixes, and enhancements to improve operational efficiency
• Create and maintain documentation for system processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures
• Analyze system issues and coordinate with IT teams to implement solutions
• Train end-users on revenue cycle applications and provide ongoing technical support
• Monitor system performance metrics and generate reports for stakeholder review
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize revenue cycle processes

Basic Qualifications

  • - Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR
  • - Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
  • - Experience in project management including communication, planning, and documentation
  • - 2+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations
  • - Strong knowledge of medical billing processes, healthcare coding, and insurance claim procedures
  • - Proficient in healthcare information systems and revenue cycle applications
  • - Experience with multiple healthcare practice management systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • - Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • - Experience with SQL databases (querying and analyzing)
  • - Experience with Open Practice Management
  • - Experience as an application manager with a common practice management system
  • - Relevant certifications (CRCR, CRCP-I, or similar)
  • - Experience with system implementations or major upgrades
  • - Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
  • - Background in healthcare data analytics

  • The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
