About This Role
Account Management (IC) Senior Advisor, (Specialty Payer Sales)
Join our team as an Account Management Senior Advisor and play a strategic role in driving client satisfaction, growth, and financial performance. In this role, you will guide client strategy, identify innovative business solutions, and serve as the trusted expert for both clients and internal partners. Your leadership will help shape long‑term success and strengthen our value in the marketplace.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans that support operational excellence, profitability, and account retention.
- Collaborate with Accredo partners to enhance customer and client experience through benefit, service, and relationship strategies.
- Maintain strong market and competitive knowledge; effectively communicate Accredo tools and services in specialty settings.
- Work closely with the Account Executive to drive retention, growth, and satisfaction strategies across products and operations.
- Support renewal activities, including RFP participation, service issue management, performance guarantees, and implementations.
- Build trusted‑advisor relationships with clients by proactively engaging in needs assessments and aligning solutions.
- Maintain deep understanding of Accredo products, services, benefit design, access, and outcomes reporting.
- Stay informed on Accredo operational performance and clearly communicate impacts to clients.
- Lead performance guarantee reporting, including analytics and client‑ready presentations.
- Develop and execute upsell and margin strategies to drive growth in target accounts.
- Apply foundational understanding of underwriting principles, contracting, and LOA processes.
- Leverage internal resources to deliver creative, cost‑balanced solutions that meet client needs.
- Represent Accredo in market events, QBRs, onsite meetings, and executive-level discussions.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare or managed care, with knowledge of product strategy, underwriting, risk, financial analysis, and account management preferred
- Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to partner with Account Executives to grow book of business.
- Strong planning and organizational skills with ability to prioritize short‑ and long‑term objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and lead within a matrixed environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience in specialty pharmacy or PBM account management.
- Experience developing financial and strategic client-facing presentations.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
