The Data and Reporting Professional 2 generates ad hoc reports and regular datasets or report information for end-users using system tools and database or data warehouse queries and scripts. The Data and Reporting Professional 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

The Network Disruption Analysis Data and Reporting Professional 2 integrates data from multiple sources to produce requested or required data elements. Create report forms and formats, canned reports and other end-user information portals or resources. May create specifications for reports based on business requests. Understand department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating goals, including their linkages to related areas. Follow established guidelines/procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Support Medicare and Specialty Benefit Group Sales by performing Disruption Analysis reporting
    • Generate regular datasets ad hoc reports as part of the standard disruption process for Medicare & Specialty Benefits (dental, vision)
    • Helps create reports based on specifications from Broker/Customer Group/Sales requests
    • Provide consultative services to Sales/Sales Ops/Proposal Center
    • Use a variety of tools and applications to perform research across multiple data sources, interpret information, and determine best course of action to produce final reports
  • Follow established guidelines/procedures for projects
  • Support ranging network programs and compliance projects with specialized par reporting
  • Apply knowledge to identify system/process issues leading to improvement recommendations and resolution/enhancement efforts
  • Maintain partnerships including daily collaboration/communication to support projects and meet requested deadlines from sales
  • Apply best judgement to prioritize/reprioritize work based on project complexities/deadlines to meet requested deadlines from sales

    Required Qualifications

    • 2+ years of experience working in an analytical/data reporting role
    • Experience with Microsoft Access to include performing queries in Design view, filtering datasets and importing/exporting data
    • Experience formatting/manipulating data in Microsoft Excel
    • Knowledgeable in Humana data systems (CAS, MTV, PIMS, PMDM, PAAG)
    • Must work Eastern Time Zone hours

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Experience working with SQL
    • Advanced skills in MS Excel (formulas/functions, pivot tables, etc.)

    Additional Information

    This role is "remote/work at home" and can be based anywhere in the United States, however, you must be willing and able to work Eastern Time Zone hours.

    Work at Home Information

    • Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
    • Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
    • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
    Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

    Pay Range

    The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

    This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
