The Senior Compliance Professional ensures compliance with governmental requirements. The Senior Compliance Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.The Senior Compliance Professional is responsible for timely reporting of accurate and complete (quality) data or other filings in response to required external agency mandates. Additional responsibilities includes coordination with Regulatory Compliance for government regulator (or their contracted vendors) communications as well as internal coordination with Corporate Affairs and other business partners regarding issues or other concerns/barriers related to timely submission of accurate and complete data. This Senior Compliance professional will be responsible for State and Federal filings on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis as well as responding to any State Department of Insurance inquiries.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, data analytics, or IT
- 3 or more years of experience in healthcare or a healthcare related industry
- Knowledge/understanding of laws and regulations governed by the Department of Insurance and CMS
- Reporting experience with external partners (DOI, CMS, DoD)
- Experience in working with large data sets
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate or advanced degree
- Audit or consulting experience
- Experience within a metric intensive organization

In this role you will be an individual contributor.
You will report to an Associate Director of Compliance.
This role does not have any travel.
Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.Scheduled Weekly Hours

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting.
